Day 01
Arrive at BIA and proceed to Colombo. Overnight in a Hotel in Colombo.

Day 02
After breakfast proceed to Habarana. En route visist Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage. Situated off the main road Colombo / Kandy road, 13 kms from Kegalle Town, Pinnawela is a home for young Elephants who have been displaced or lost from their natural habitat. The only such sanctuary in the world, visitors can watch the beasts gamboling in the water and being fed their quota of milk from handheld bottles, PM at leisure or an optional jeep safari to Minneriya or Kaudulla National Park. Day 03
After breakfast proceed to Sigiriya which is famous for its frescoes of “Heavenly Maidens” This UNESCO World Heritage site, a spectacular Rock Fortress, is one of Sri Lanka’s major attractions. The most impressive facets of the unique complex are the Water Gardens, the Frescoes of beautiful maidens, the Mirror Wall with ancient graffiti, the Lion platform and the Summit of 1.6 hectares, which was completely covered by buildings during the period of Sigiriya’ s glory. After breakfast visit ancient city of Polonnaruwa. Polonnaruwa rose to fame as the capital after the decline of Anuradhapura. Its period of greatness was from the 10th - 12th centuries AD. The entire landscape of the region is punctuated by huge man-made reservoirs, veritable inland seas the most famous of which is the Parakrama Samudra or the Sea of Parakrama, larger in size than the Colombo harbor. The monuments of this medieval city are relatively well preserved and give clear evidence of the glory of Sri Lanka's past. See the Royal Palace complex, the Quadrangle with its concentration of ancient heritage and the spectacular Gal Vihare complex of four massive images of the Buddha, cut from a single slab of granite – a highlight of ancient Sri Lankan rock carving. Day 04
After breakfast leave for the Cave Temples in Dambulla. Dating back to the 01st century BC, this complex of 05 caves was used as refuge by an ancient king who on regaining his throne, commissioned magnificent carved images within the living rock. Later kings made further improvements and most of the paintings are from the early 19th century.

Proceed to Kandy Visit A Spice Gardens in Matale. Arrive in Kandy. Kandy a lovely city, the Hill Capital and last stronghold of the Sinhala Kings retains an aura of grandeur, which time has not affected. Encircled by hills, with a tranquil lake in its center, it is the site of the renowned "Temple of the Tooth" and the Royal Botanical gardens home to one of the best collections of Orchids. Kandy and its satellite villages are the centre of the islands handicraft industry and its traditional dances are the most spectacular in the country. Day 05
After Breakfast relax at the hotel. PM proceed to witness a cultural show. Return to hotel for dinner and over night. Overnight at a Hotel in the region

Day 06
After breakfast leave for Nuwara Eliya visiting the Royal Botanical Gardens. This 147 acre land was originally a pleasure garden of the last Queen of Kandy. Later this garden became the operational headquarters of Lord Mountbatten who was Supreme Commander of the allied Forces during the Second World War. This garden is one of the best in the world with its Variety of plants. The best known attraction in the Orchid house which houses more than 300 varieties of orchids. The spice garden gives you a first hand introduction to the trees, plants and creepers that produce the special spices of Sri Lanka.

Their after proceed to visit a Tea Plantation and Factory and watch the process of turning the raw green leaf into the familiar black/brown final product.

Arrive in Nuwara Eliya. Nuwara Eliya is the heart of Sri Lankan hill country. It is the home of the famous Ceylon Tea and the rolling mountains are a carpet of velvety green tea plantations, interspersed with gushing streams and tumbling waterfalls. The salubrious climate, misty glens and the decidedly British character make Nuwara Eliya a must on any Sri Lankan travel itinerary.

Day 07
After breakfast proceed to Horton Plains. Sri Lanka's highest plateau 7200 ft above sea level in the central mountain country. This ‘Fen” is a very scenic region with an astounding variety of scenery from mountains to grasslands, from marshes to trout streams. Sri Lanka's best flavored high grown teas are grown in the surrounding areas. Spectacular view from 'Worlds End' where the plateau plunges a thousand feet in a straight sheer drop. Cool and bracing climate, excellent for trout fishing and very good hiking country. Distinctive flora (many English field flowers grow on the plains) colorful butterflies and many rare highland birds.

Day 08
After breakfast leave for Yala visiting ‘Adisham’ a Benedictine monastery (A replica of a British castle) You may also be able to buy fresh fruit jams/preserves and juices prepared by the monks from fruit grown in their garden. Adisham is primarily a monastery, where a small community of six novices and a few monks follow a schedule of prayer, meditation, work and service. Adisham has made itself famous for fine products such as strawberry jam, orange marmalade, wild guava jelly and fresh fruit cordials.

Day 09
Early morning proceed to Yala National Park for a jeep safari with packed pik nik breakfast. Situated 309 km. south of Colombo, Yala is approximately 1,259 sq. in extent and is located in the south eastern corner of the island. Its northern boundaries border on the Lahugala Elephant Sanctuary and it has the added bonus of a scenic ocean frontage. The terrain is varied flat plains alternating with rocky outcrops. The vegetation ranges from open parkland to dense jungle. Water holes, small lakes, lagoons and streams provide water for the animals and birds. The specialty here is the large numbers of elephants and occasional leopards. Return to hotel. P.M at leisure.

Day 10 & 11
After late breakfast proceed to City of Galle. 116 kms south of Colombo, this is the southern Sri Lanka’s most important town, and though planted squarely on the beach circuit it derives its apotheosis from reasons other than golden stretches of sand. It is famous for its Old Dutch fort and ramparts.

Day 12 & 13 Beach Stay
After breakfast proceed to Bentota, Relax by the sea / pool.

After breakfast proceed to Colombo and thereafter proceed on a brief city tour and shopping stops.

After breakfast proceed to the airport.
