Day 01
Arrive very early in the morning & be met by our Airport staff, chauffer / guide and immediately transferred to Colombo.

Day 02
After breakfast proceed on a city of Colombo (Optional) including visits to, a handy craft store, A Hindu Kovil, Buddhist Temple, and a Catholic Church. PM proceed on a visit to a local house for tea and snacks and speak about SriLankan style of living.

Day 03
After Breakfast proceed to Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage Situated off the main road Colombo / Kandy road, 13 kms from Kegalle Town, Pinnawela is a home for young Elephants who have been displaced or lost from their natural habitat. The only such sanctuary in the world, visitors can watch the beasts gamboling in the water and being fed their quota of milk from handheld bottles, PM Arrive at Cinnamon Lodge late evening at leisure or optional Jeep Safari of Minneriya or Kaudulla National Park or an Elephant back safari of the forests surrounding the hotel.

Day 04
After B’fast proceed to Polonnaruwa the capital from the 11th to 13th Century. Its centerpiece is the Terrace of the Tooth Relic. Best examples of sculpture at Polonnaruwa are seen at Gal Vihare, a monument with four beautifully carved images of the Buddha. A sampling of medieval Buddhist art is preserved at the Tivanka Image House. One of the island’s largest known irrigation reservoirs is the Parakrama Samudra, an inland sea contracted in the 11th century’s Dambulla, Dating back to the 1st century BC, this 500 foot rock mass consists of a series of caves turned into shrines with numerous life size images of the Buddha and other Gods. The most impressive is the 147 long statue of the Buddha. PM proceed to and climb the rock fortress this awesome ‘Lion Rock’ is one of the most memorable sights you will see. A huge mass of red stone rises majestically over 600 feet into the dry arid air. Built by King Kashyapa. It is one of the greatest architectural feats of the ancient.

Day 05
After breakfast proceed to Kandy visiting Dambulla Rock Temple This was built by king Walagambahu in the 1st century B.C. Dambulla is a world heritage site and is the most impressive of Sri Lanka’s cave temples. The complex of five caves with over 2000 sq. meters of painted walls and ceilings is the largest area of paintings found in the world. The caves contain over 150 images of the Buddha of which the largest is the colossal figure of the Buddha carved out of rock and spanning 14 meters. Their after proceed to a spice garden and batik factory. (Which has a variety of spices such as Cinnamon, Clove, Cardamom, Black Pepper, Nut-meg etc? Clients are taken around the Garden to see the plants in their natural state. Clients can witness the process of extracting certain spices.

The spices are also available for sale). Evening an optional city tour of Kandy including a visit to the Temple Of The Tooth and a visit to a gem museum and a jewellery.

Day 06
After Bfast proceed to Nuwara Eliya visiting the Royal Botanical Gardens This 147 acre land was originally a pleasure garden of the last Queen of Kandy. Later this garden became the operational headquarters of Lord Mountbatten who was Supreme Commander of the allied Forces during the Second World War. This garden is one of the best in the world with its Variety of plants. The best known attraction in the Orchid house which houses more than 300 varieties of orchids. The spice garden gives you a first hand introduction to the trees, plants and creepers that produce the special spices of Sri Lanka. Arrive at Nuwara.

Day 07
After breakfast proceed to Kataragama en route city tour of Nuwara Eliya town, which is the heart of Sri Lankan hill country. It is the home of the famous Ceylon Tea and the rolling mountains are a carpet of velvety green tea plantations, interspersed with gushing streams and tumbling waterfalls. The salubrious climate, misty glens and the decidedly British character make Nuwara Eliya a must on any Sri Lankan travel itinerary visiting a tea plantation and a Factory. Enjoy a fresh cup of pure “Ceylon Tea" while purchasing your stock of TEA to take back home. Arrive at Yala

Day 08
Early morning proceed to Yala National Park for a jeep safari with pik nik breakfast). Their after return back to hotel to freshen up and depart to Bentota, Evening arrive at Bentota.

Day 09
After breakfast relax by the pool, or optional boat tour on the river through mangroves and visit local industries based along the river bank or learn how to prepare local spicy dishes at special cookery demonstration by the chef. Pm return back to the hotel and relax by the pool.

Day 10
After a late breakfast proceed to Negombo via Colombo city and visiting Odel which is large department store dealing with latest designer wear.
